I purchased a Picket#4 handrail . The concrete anchors ( expansion screws)that are furnished are a metric size.. What size SDS OR concrete bit ( in inches) is need for the hole in the concrete?

How are the expansion bolts, used for concrete or stone, supposed to be inserted? The bolt has a sleeve and a lock nut at the end of the bolt below the sleeve to tighten the bolt into the sleeve. The instructions are woefully inadequate.

After drilling, first tighten the lock nut at the end of the expansion bolt for a few turns, slightly expand the expansion bolt, and then knock the expansion bolt into the hole for tightening operation.

Real wrought iron top rail.
They were easy to install in our concrete stoop. I bought an extra set to extend for the top of the stoop. By cutting the two sets and welding them together to make one whole railing, they came out great. I thing the company should sell a set like that to do that same thing. Only a thought and check it out in the pics.

If I could choose again, I’d order a different one
The product arrived with one of the pieces bent, so I contacted the company and they told me to just un-bend it myself so I did that and it resulted in minor scratches. Finished product is sturdy, but it does look a bit clunky - see photos. Also, the part that covers the bolts is flimsy and it looks like it will fall apart soon. I think it is missing the screws to anchor it in place.
