I purchased a Picket#4 handrail . The concrete anchors ( expansion screws)that are furnished are a metric size.. What size SDS OR concrete bit ( in inches) is need for the hole in the concrete?

How are the expansion bolts, used for concrete or stone, supposed to be inserted? The bolt has a sleeve and a lock nut at the end of the bolt below the sleeve to tighten the bolt into the sleeve. The instructions are woefully inadequate.

After drilling, first tighten the lock nut at the end of the expansion bolt for a few turns, slightly expand the expansion bolt, and then knock the expansion bolt into the hole for tightening operation.
