What does Xcotton Product Protection Plan cover?
The plan covers accidental damage (such as dropping, cracking or spilling liquid on Your Covered Products) from the
day you purchased the plan. The plan also covers mechanical and electrical breakdowns or malformations to Your
Covered Product that occurs after the manufacturer's warranty has expired.
What is the Coverage Term of Product Protection begin?
Xcotton offer 3 Product Protection Plan one 1 year/2 year/3 year. The coverage term of Accidental Damage
Protection and Power Surge Protection is the term indicated on the receipt for your protection plan plus one year
manufacturer's warranty. The coverage term of Extended Failure protection is the term indicated on the receipt for
your protection plan.
Are there any fees or deductibles?
There is no fees or deductibles that you need to pay out of pocket. All covered claims are indemnified by the Plan.
Can I cancel my Plan?
You may cancel your Plan and subject to a refund. Amount of your refund will be depending on a number of factors. If
your order is canceled prior to delivery, we will issue a full refund. If you have received the product and put it in use for
a period of time, depending of the duration since purchase, we will issue a pro-rata refund, and minus any claims that
have been paid out.
Is damage be repaired or replaced?
It depends on the damage, we may elect to replace the product in its entirety or the parts that were damaged. You
can file a claim by log onto the Resolution Center that the link is on the Confirmation email. Follow the instructions
and it will guide you step by step to provide the claim supporting information. Our Fulfillment Specialist will review the
information provided and ensure a quick resolution within 48 hours. Claims in relation to Accidental Damage must be
submitted to Us within 10 working days of the incident. In respect of Accidental Damage, Our liability is for any one (1)
Valid Claim shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the Product.
Does the plan cover injury from failures or accidental damage?
This protection plan covers mechanical and electrical failures due to normal use after the manufacturer's warranty
expires. This protection plan also covers accidental damage from handling such as drops and spills for portable
products from Date of Purchase. However, it does not cover any liability or damage to property, or injury or death
arising out of the use of the product.

You are protected for:
1.Hardware failure
2.Inner machinery failure
3.Mechanical or electrical breakdown
4.Defects in workmanship
5.Defects from normal wear and tear
6.Drops
7.Spills
8.Cracked screen
9.Power surge
You are not coverd for:
1.Gross negligence of any kind.
2.Liability to anyone other than the Insured or Service Contract Holder, as the case may be.
3.Pre-existing damage that occurred prior to the Protection Plan effective date.
4.Normal wear and tear to the exterior and interior of the Product cosmetic parts.
5.Damage proven to be caused by neglect, abuse, misuse, theft, sand, corrosion, water damage, excessive heat,
acts of God, commercial usage, inadequate or improper voltage or current (fluctuation of electrical power, lightning,
static electricity), unauthorized modification, improper environment (including lack of proper temperature or
humidity).
6.Unauthorized modifications made to the Product and/or problems/defects arising from such unauthorized
modifications; altered serial numbers; failure to follow manufacturers' instructions on installation, operation or
maintenance; repairs performed by non-authorized repairer; any items not affecting the function of the Product;
image burn.
7.Using the wrong voltage output which caused electrical damage to the Product
8.Repair, replacement or maintenance of items that have been subject to normal wear and tear. Failure to follow
manufacturer's recommended instructions for installation, operation, routine care maintenance, inspection, cleaning,
external adjustments etc. including problems cause by a device that is not the Product, including
equipment/accessories that are not OEM, whether or not purchased at the same time as the Product.
9.Commercial use (multi-user organizations), public rental or, use for profit.
10.Losses that do not occur within the Period of Protection.

Coverage
Loss Coverage
Domestic Packages: If your packages are not marked as "Delivered" by the courier within 30 days from the date of shipment,
we will consider them lost.
International Packages: If your packages are not marked as "Delivered" by the courier within 60 days from the date of shipment,
we will consider them lost.
Packages Marked as "Delivered": If your packages are marked as "Delivered" by the courier but you do not receive them, we will
consider them lost, provided you submit sufficient supporting documents.
For the cases mentioned above, we will compensate you with either a replacement or a refund, which will not exceed the original
purchase value of the items.
Damage Coverage
If your packages are damaged during transit, we will compensate you by offering either a replacement or a refund. The
compensation amount will not exceed the original purchase value of the items.
Mis-delivery by Courier
If the delivery address provided does not match the address specified in your order information, we will compensate the
costs incurred to correct the address, subject to our approval.
Delay
If the item is not received within the agreed time, the customer may be eligible for a delay compensation of up to USD5
(or USD5 equivalent) per order.
How to file a claim?
How do I file a claim for my order?
If Your Covered Product is damaged or has malfunctioned, please click the "Start Claim" button above to report the issue.
What is the claim reporting period for all situations?
All issues must be reported within 90 days of the order date.
1. Issue of Loss:
If the package is not marked as "Delivered" by the courier company, it must be reported within 90 days after the order date.
If the package is marked as "delivered" but not received, it must be reported within 7 days from the time the courier's
tracking record is updated to "delivered."
2. Issue of Loss:
If the package is delivered with damage, it must be reported within 7 days from the time the courier's information is updated to
"delivered."
3. Mis-delivery by Courier:
If you find that the package has been delivered to the wrong address, please report it to us immediately.
4. Issue of Delay:
If the item is not received within the agreed time, Please report the issue via Xcotton Resolution Center upon discovery and
within 90 days from the Date of Delivery.
Cancellation
Can I cancel the plan?
If your order has not been shipped, please contact the merchant to request a refund for the shipping protection.
If your order has already been shipped, the shipping protection cannot be canceled.
