Will use on wood steps. And lag screws. Dimensions of base plate? Thickness? SIze of holes? Can fingers get caught in curly ends?

The thickness of the base plate is more than 50mm and the hole diameter is more than 10mm. the end curl will not catch the fingers.

The railings work remarkably well on the ramp. I bought the railings to help my Dad get into and out of our glider swing. Unfortunately one of the parts was damaged during shipping which chipped paint and made it difficult to assemble. Some white appliance paint should prevent the damaged area from rusting.

Product arrives quickly! We loved the quality, but the directions or lack thereof was frustrating. Depending on the application of wood or concrete there will be extra hardware pieces. I was looking for the installation procedures of how to step by step proceed. There aren't any. Also, the top of the anchor is not very tall and kept slipping with a ratchet.
