I cannot get the pins to be horizontal. It is a sliding type. I cannot find help anywhere to remedy this.

7CraftyFingers Hard for kids to get it right.

I, an adult, had no problem making buttons. But when I let 10 year olds try under my direct supervision every button was flawed and did not crimp well. So I give it kudos for price and versatility for adults but not good for crafting with children because it is a bit finicky.
It is made of plastic mostly so I suspect there is more give in the plastic than with the metal dies. The folder standard button makers (a different brand so unnamed) are all metal and they have 100% success with every button, even without supervision of the child.
They used to make a set for 2.25 and 2.25” buttons that were made of metal but they retired this model. I would buy it in a heartbeat if they would bringbit back.

I really enjoy that I can press three different size buttons with this machine. That saves me space. My issue is that the handle that you use to press the buttons is made out of plastic. It has broken once already, but vevor sent me a replacement handle. I'm just concerned that it will happen again. I would rather buy the models with all metal parts.

The handle is made of plastic. It eventually broke due to the force applied to press the pins. I had it for about 5 months and made a normal amount of pins. I am also a weakling so it’s not like my strength made it snap ha!
