Handrail is very sturdy. Happy with it.

I am so pleased with this handrail! Looks great! I installed it on wooden steps very easily. I took off 1 star because the base appears to made so that it rusts because it is not welded all the way around where the leg joins. See photo. It started rusting within a month of installation. We may have to replace it in a year. But for me it is still worth it, since I couldn’t find anything that would fit the stairs after months of searching. This probably wouldn’t be a problem if installed indoors.UPDATE: It’s been 2 years and this is still sturdy! Recommend!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. It was so easy to install with the right tools for cement steps. My husband bought a hammer drill? Something like that, that can attach this to the cement. It is very elegant looking and STURDY!! And best of all . . . with the color being white . . it doesn't get hot to the touch. Black rails tend to heat up and our door faces west . . so the afternoon sun just beats down . . . but not once so far has this railing been hot to the touch! And when christmas comes . . guess what? white led lights will look nice with a little garland!

I have only 1 step into my house. This is exactly what I need for ease of entry. I have some older friends who will welcome this simple assist. It is perfect! Affordable, too! Thanks!

Sturdy

When installed correctly, ir is very sturdy.Perfect for people have a high step.

Installed for elderly father in law. It is very sturdy but it depends on the condition of the concrete it is mounted to. It needs some sort of finish cap to convert the bolts. I used appliance touch up paint to paint the washers and bolt heads. Much cheaper than commercial installation.

Amazingly sturdy for being a single post. Great quality.
