Perfect for someone who just needs to " touch" something for balance going down one step. We added a bolt to the bottom of the pole where there is a predrilled hole to keep it from turning in the poured concrete base.

This is a very nice handrail that worked perfectly for my use. My in-laws and other relatives are getting older and are having a difficult time getting up stairs and steps without some type of hand hold. This was what I needed and came with installation bolts for concrete and also screws for wooden steps. It has a nice powder coat finish and is solidly built. I would not hesitate purchasing another one.

I have installed several of these single post handrails, and my only complaint is the cheap sleeve anchors provided for installation into concrete .Sleeve anchors are not meant for concrete, and if you want to save yourself a major headache, purchase some quality wedge anchors that are at least 2 1/2 inches long. The price fromVevor for these quality handrails cannot be beat anywhere.

I purchased two of these handrails and installed them for a friend that has rheumatoid arthritis. She was in desperate need of railings of any kind, but I chose these because of their quality and ease of installation. She was not expecting anyone to do this, but when I saw the need, I had to do something fast. Winter is on its way and there was no time to waste. Once installed, she couldn’t understand how she got by without them. It was a complete success and I have never installed anything into concrete before this. Like I said, very easy to install, but make sure you have a hammer drill. That was also what made it easy.

Exactly what I'd hoped for. Only draw back is the instructions. You should include the size and depth of the hole to drill.
