We used this product to help me get up two stamps from the sidewalk to my porch. I'm in my 70s.

This pole is exactly what I needed to help me navigate the single step from my sidewalk to my driveway. It's perfect...function and aesthetics.

This arrived yesterday (11/27) and I have to wait to have it installed because of the cold weather right now. Will be having it sunk into a cement base at the side of the porch step so I have access to assist to climb the stairs to the front door. What I REALLY like is the height being adjustable to suit individual comfort when you install it and the fact that I do NOT have to attach it to the actual side of the house. This lets me position it to fit other needs associated with my design plans and being just a single pole means I won't be wasting any space around it. The color (gray) is very nice...it's on a darker side, which I prefer.

I haven't set this in the ground yet because I still need to paint, but I don't see there being any issues afterwards. This is a very sturdy handrail made from heavy metal, so I'm not worried about it falling apart. And it has a really good primer coating that should help the paint adhere. You can't beat the quality you get at this price!

So glad I bought this handrail. I have a small front porch with only one step but no handrail. In the winter that single step can get slippery so I decided to get some sort of handrail for people to hold on to. This single pole handrail is quality built and very strong and sturdy. It can be cemented in the ground which was important to me since I didn’t want to drill into my concrete porch. What a great price and I highly recommend it.
