Does a very good job. Speeds up prep time for pickling and canning. It is particularly handy for jalepenos and other spicy vegetables, and eliminates dangers of slicing with a mandrel.

Works well for price point. Guard is a bit flimsy, but ok. Manual model has way more adjustment for thickness...we use for thin sliced cabbage. Manual fee is spring fed; needs a bit of help from time to time as shredding. Awkward to clean but not bad if careful. This is good for the price.

Gets the Fruit Job Down...

I use this to Dry pears and works great. Get the pears somewhat soft and cut about 1/4 inch slices and than cut the cores out with a small plastic pipe and dry them for about 15 hours. They are great and something you cannot buy anywhere. Your Family will love you over these Great Pears.

Great cutter but it would be nice to have the blade be adjustable and easier to remove also the feet stick well but regular rubber feet would be better .

The compartment for loading items to be sliced somewhat limited. Large round heads of lettuce and cabbage need to be quartered to fit. Very sharp out of box. Minimal effort to operate. Slice so thin almost can see thru veggies. Works well.

Excellent lettuce shredder. No more shredded horrible bagged lettuce. All stainless steel easy to clean. The blades are very sharp. Well worth the money, to make great shreds. Just makes your burger or sandwich taste so much better.
