Finally, after years of trying different vinyl record cleaning schemes, a method that works really well.I have tried sink washing, spin washing, wood glue, vaccum, brushing and every youtube trick in the book with results that kept me looking for a better way. Now my search has successfully concluded with this product. Here is the process I use:Step 1: Mix up a batch of library of congress record cleaning solution. About an eye dropper makes a gallon. Put solution in the cavitation tank to a level that will cover the last record track.Step 2: brush or rinse loose dirt off of both sides of the records you intend to clean before placing up to 3 on the spinning shaft with the round spacers in between. You could fit twice as many, but I doubt it would allow enough cavitation to develop.Step 3: Set temperature and time. You may wish to experiment here. I like to have the solution warm to the touch and run the cavitation for 10 to 20 mins more or less depending on how dirty the vinyl.Step 4 : Remove and rinse then place on drying rack.Step 5: After drying I use a microfiber cloth to catch the occasional water spot and then put the vinyl in it's antistatic sleeve.Result: most of the time, a super quiet clean record. I can now stop pretending to like crackles and pops. This product was shipped super fast from a US location. The price was lower than other cavitation setups and the record holder / spinner was extremely well made.
