I've cleaned around 35 albums so far. A few of them were pretty grungy and had plenty of pops and surface noise. After a 30 minute wash cycle, they came out looking like new and the pop and surface noise was definitely a major improvement! I used distilled water and the soap that came from my yellow manual washing unit. When I received my cleaning machine, I was a bit reluctant to use the plexiglass discs that came it came with for covering the labels. So far, every album that I've cleaned not a single label got wet! I clean 5 records at a time with a 30-minute run. Works perfect and you cannot beat the price for the job it does!

I did a lot of research and was not liking what I saw, but turns out most of those reviews were for the "knob" version, and they focused on the level of noise and parts issues. I bought the push button version, and this thing is great! Yeah, the instructions are sparce, but youtube has several great videos that answer pert near any question you might have. All parts were included and youtube filled any set-up gaps. The spin speed was what I expected. I used distilled water, KNOX record cleaner, Kodak Photo-Flo 200 Solution and a drop of liquid detergent - eight albums at a time. Fabulous results!! One problem -- the plastic drain connector does not screw in the drain spout, but I just open the drain into the sink. The noise is more than acceptable - guest bathroom, close the door - can't be heard. Good thing there is an alarm for the timer! This unit exceeded my expectations and is a bargain at $200. Nicely done!

This thing works like a champ. I love the Chinese/English translations on this, good for a giggle. I've used this to clean 8 records at a time (no, they do not need to be spaced very far apart hence the "ultrasonic"). I've used these on lps as well as 78s (you'd be amazed at the crud that collects on the bottom). When my son found out that I had bought an ultrasonic cleaner he used it to clean his bike chain. I've brought it to school to clean brass instruments, this thing is the whole package!The only thing I changed was to put a smaller power supply on the motor and wired in a voltage limiter so I could slow it down some, just seemed like it was going too fast. And you know what? I haven't really noticed a difference, records still come out just as clean. So there you go.

Great for cleaning vinyl. Records that I cleaned on my expensive wet wash / vacuum unit but still unlistenable came out ultra clean and almost noise free. Unbelievable.

I bought this because of the reviews, and because of the way the motor assembly mounts to the cleaning tank. It's very stout. I had borrowed my son-in-laws ultrasonic cleaner, it had a very poorly designed mounting bracket for the motor. This one is great. Works well, and I am happy with the results so far.

I’ve read reviews about this and everything was positive. It works great, I’ve used it for records & jewelry, and it cleans perfectly. Also I read some reviews about sounds this makes slight buzz noise but other then that it’s quiet compared to others I’ve heard. 100 % happy with my purchase.
