We used it for the final lock down period of goose egg hatching and it went quite well. Goose eggs are put into the middle layer. Hours after piping, when the goslings are almost ready to come out, eggs are moved to the bottom layer. Hatched goslings stay there for drying out, before moving to brooder.
The vertical design is better than normal incubator due to its separation, height, and easy cleanup. This is basically a small-size cabinet incubator.
Problems:
1) temperature control is only in full degree Celsius. It's best to have 0.1 Fahrenheit level control.
2) Quite big difference in temperature from top to bottom.
3) No moisture reading/control.
