The max series fuse rating for my panels is 10A and I see the fuses which come with this combiner box are 15A. Am I guessing correctly that those are just fuse holders we see in the photo? If so, can lower amp fuses be installed? What type fuse is needed to replace those included (SPF?)?

Yes, the fuse is 15A, it can be replaced with a 10A fuse, but if so, the maximum input current of each channel will be 10A. The fuse is 10*38MM in diameter.

Works well. Easy to wire.
Was easy to wire the last remaining parts that came inside the box. Can also swap to 15amp fuses down the line if I want. The main is still 63amp for either ones. Only mfg upgrade to me would be a small lock hasp built in on it.

Well-Wired, Easy to Mount, and Holds Up Outdoors
This seems like a great enclosure that is well wired and easy to mount. I mounted it outdoors at the panels so we shall see if it holds up to the outside environment. I only needed a 2 string enclosure, but this gives me room to expand. I only wish that they had included caps or plugs for entry points that were not being used. The wiring was neatly done and the external mounting tabs worked well without requiring penetrating the case's waterproof integrity. A gasket rests in the cover groove to ensure the waterproofing. I do wish that the breakers had individual switches for each solar string. There is only a master switch for the entire enclosure, but it works well for my small installation.

Satisfied with Quality and Construction of Solar Combiner Box
I previously purchased a 6 string PV combiner box and installed it on my solar array. It was built in a weather proof metal box. If they would include a direct link to the breakers and fuses that work properly with the box it would be helpful for those like myself who are diy. Other than that I am very satisfied with the quality and construction of my 6 string metal box. Then I ordered a 4 string box that's built in a plastic box. It's quality appears equal to the 6 string box except the only ground is direct to the breaker. I would have preferred a more robust grounding alternative in the 4 string version. However overall it appears solid and well built but I have not installed it yet at this time.
