The max series fuse rating for my panels is 10A and I see the fuses which come with this combiner box are 15A. Am I guessing correctly that those are just fuse holders we see in the photo? If so, can lower amp fuses be installed? What type fuse is needed to replace those included (SPF?)?
Yes, the fuse is 15A, it can be replaced with a 10A fuse, but if so, the maximum input current of each channel will be 10A. The fuse is 10*38MM in diameter.
I haven’t connected mine yet so not sure. 1/0 AWG is very large and likely oversized for what you need. Size the wire according to the breaker inside. This will likely result in a 6 or 8/0AWG wire
