This cyclone separator was exactly what I was looking for. It came complete with the cyclone and tank. I did not use any of the 2” hose parts and used the 4” hose I had. The only 2 cons I have are as follows. 1. The plastic inlet and outlet “necks” where the hoses connect are rather short. There is enough length to clamp the hoses but they could be longer. 2. The description says the tank has 4 wheels the photo shows 3. It comes with 3 and thus makes it a little prone to tipping if one wheel happens to hit some debris on the floor I have it connected to a WenDC 3401 600 cfm dust collector fan. I removed the wheels on the tank. Built a platform with larger 2” wheels under it. Mounted the cyclone and fan together on the platform. No I move it from machine to machine as needed. Great setup and small footprint. This combination works extremely well at collecting all the particles from my thickness planer. It is small and compact. Separates the dust and debris very well.
