It took an entire day to adapt this to work on my mill. I had to create a custom mounting plate, a shaft bushing to adapt the inside diameter of the bearing to the diameter of my mills handle shaft, then I had to file a key slot in the handle shaft to fit the keyway and key for this unit to attach to the shaft. I also had to drill and tap the end of my handle shaft to bolt on the unit as my handle shaft was of insufficient length. Had to drill mounting holes for the stop switch bracket as well. If it all just slid onto a 5/8" diameter shaft as a unit, it would be a lot easier to install. My old handle assembly would not connect to the unit, so I can only turn it by hand from the other end.

Mounted on a Sharp knee mill (Bridgeport clone) and it fit flawlessly. They have worked out the issues of fitment that you see in YouTube videos from a few years ago. It is a quality product, and the variable speed gives great control. Will probably buy another for the Y axis.

I have used this for about a week now and I must say it is just what I needed. I've always wanted a power table elevator but the prices were just waaaaayyyyyy out of my reach for an unnecessary accessory. For barely over a hundred bux tho ,How can a person go wrong unless it is a total POS thing. Well it appears well built and the quality of the machining of the visible ring and pinion is top notch . Time will tell if it is durable or not. Now for the negative. You better be quite mechanically inclined to install this on an real Bridgeport. I never have said to throw away the instructions and just wing it but in this case it is true. You might as well throw them away and not waste your time reading the useless things. LOL!! Overall though,I am very happy with this purchase.

Doesn’t come with a T track for the safety stops and took a little effort mounting this to my Bridgeport. Once mounted, it works great.

Like many have said, the brass gear needed to be modified to fit on my Bridgeport. It was too long to get the lock nut back on. Other than that, works as it should and can get pretty slow if needed.
