Great for citrus trees in winter

I bought these to coil up around some young citrus trees in coastal Georgia when we had a pretty severe cold front come through. They did produce enough heat to keep the leaves from getting damaged through a few days of temps dipping below freezing at night.

Yes, you can use this product outdoors. If the outdoor temperature is very low, insulation is necessary. Please wrap the heating wire with insulating material, but do not wrap the thermostat. Place the thermostat on the conduit; pre-insulated material such as foam or fiberglass is recommended.
