As described. Decent quality, well packaged and shipped promptly. I replaced the supplied concrete anchors with all thread so that I could use epoxy as the fixture.

I built 2 decks this summer using the various post styles (corner, horizontal, 30 degree, and 1x2" horizontal). I was very pleased with the quality of all rails, and the ease of installation. Black powder coat was consistent and complete on all posts, and none arrived bent or dented. The brackets to attach the railing are a little fidgety, and the cable holes in the 1x2" posts were slightly smaller than in the 2x2" horizontal and corner poles, so the rubber grommets I was using didn't fit without some trimming. I'm just a homeowner, not a pro, and I was able to complete the cable process with little waste.

I worked with a few railings- this wasn't the best I've seen but respectable and once installed looked great. The holes are fairly large and I filled with rubber grommets for a finished look. Would I put in a nice living room rebuild? Probably not. But here's the thing- it was like half the price of the DIY brands! It's a fraction of the price of the top-shelf stuff. It came with only curved rail mounts and I crushed them near flat in a vise. The orange big-box store had some nice modern railing that worked well.

We've had these surrounding our stairwell in the middle of our house floor plan for about a year now. They look great they installed very easily, the price was right. I will say even with four lag bolts/screws installed into each base, I am a larger guy and I would still not trust these posts to hold up if somebody fell into them. They definitely have some flex. As long as you know what you're getting they serve their purpose.
