The VEVOR 9U Open Frame Server Rack, 23''-40'' Adjustable Depth, is a solid choice for organizing networking equipment! This 4-post, carbon steel rack supports up to 500 lbs when floor-mounted (200 lbs at max depth, 150 lbs wall-mounted) and adjusts from 23 to 40 inches deep, fitting various servers, routers, and AV gear. The open-frame design ensures excellent ventilation and easy access to ports, while the included casters make it a breeze to move. Assembly is straightforward, taking about an hour with the provided 145 M510 screws, 10 M612 cage nuts, and other accessories, though a power drill is recommended for the non-self-tapping screws. The top shelf adds useful storage for tools or monitors, and the corrosion-resistant finish holds up well. My only minor gripe is the spot-welded caster nuts, which can loosen under heavy loads (reinforce if needed). The top cover doesn’t fully extend at deeper settings, but this doesn’t affect functionality. Priced around $70–$80, it’s a great value compared to pricier brands like StarTech, offering robust build quality for small offices or home labs. Highly recommend for a reliable, space-saving server rack!

Look at the metric sizes as the rack cannot get as shallow as 15", it is a little over 23". Good, solid, small server rack, but does not fit in the location I intended to put it in.

I purchased the VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack a few months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. From start to finish, the experience was great. Assembly was a breeze — all the holes were perfectly aligned, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. It didn’t take long at all to get everything set up.
What really impressed me was the build quality. This rack is very sturdy and strong — much more solid than I expected at this price point. The adjustable depth feature (15''-40'') made it incredibly versatile for my setup, and the option to either free-stand or wall-mount it is a huge plus. The casters are a nice touch too, making it easy to move around when needed.
Overall, this rack exceeded my expectations in every way. It holds all my networking and AV gear securely, looks clean and professional, and feels like it will last for years. Highly recommended!

The VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack, is a nice equipment rack, and seemingly serves its purpose. Putting the rack together, on the other hand, may also seem a bit of a challenge to some who are not so mechanically inclined.
The directions are not all that informative - thankfully there are a few illustrations which give guidance to complete the assembly. The bulk package of screws which are necessary to construct the rack, are self-tapping, and are extremely difficult to turn with a screwdriver by hand - but once seated, they secure the pieces in place.
For the money - and based on your individual needs or use for such equipment racks - this, VEVOR 12U Open Frame Server Rack, is priced to suit most needs of the user - perhaps more so from a studio (in my opinion) setting where the rack would be "stationed," as opposed to be expected to survive the rigors from being moved from state to stage, while on the road.

Great rack for the price. Thankfully my partner is a mechanical engineer, and was able to help assemble. While the components are labeled, it would have taken me longer to do it solo. No regrets, If the need arises, I will purchase another.

I use these for portable video woerk wnd training. Construction is stronger then twice other pices, whells are great use, doble sided standard rack mount opening is absolute heave. As well as sturdy beyond belief. LOVE THEM -now have 5. :) Tom
