works great
Used them to replace some homemade ones I had previously installed...couldn't be happier...look and work great...was worried they wouldn't be sturdy enough, but they have a screw tension mechanism that work great...I even added a sunshade to my deck lights using the same poles...

Great poles to enable deck lighting.
The poles were super easy to set-up and install. Seriously, anyone can do it. Additionally, this allowed me to install Edison lighting around the deck and looks really good.

Worked well with shorter spans between poles
Great product, three anchors per pole, screwed to fence post. Bought two more to shorten span. Max span around 20 to 25’, for Costco lights.

these poles are great!
I bought these poles to hang string lights over my back deck and it looks wonderful - they are sturdy and easy to install

Very Surdy!
Love the light poles! Easy to install, very durable and well worth the money! I researched so many light poles and finally decided on these because I was attaching them to my deck. You will definitely need to get the 2" U brackets to stabilize them but they are up and very sturdy! Highly recommend!

Quality sturdy product super easy to assemble
We are using the light poles to string some decorative lights across our backyard entertainment space. Just waiting on the lights to complete the project(To stabilize the poles, we used large outdoor planter pots. Put 2ea $1 bricks face down at the bottom of the planter pots with a space between them; then a single hole cinder block on top the bricks. Filled the pots with play sand up to the bottom of cinder block. Mixed small amount of quick-crete, filled hole in cinder block 3/4’s full. Pushed the provided “in-ground” pole base into the hole of the cinder block until metal ring plate of the pole base sat flush on top of cinder block. Continued filling the void space of the planter pot with sand until it reaches the top of the metal ring plate of the pole base. Make sure not to cover the wing nut hole connection (on the outside) of the pole base with sand. Pack the sand tight and let the quick-Crete set/dry. Voila you have a portable pole base to place wherever you want. They are heavy and stable. I used a small hand-truck/dolly to position mine.
