We had sand for a few inches and then hard red clay, and white concrete clay! This little post hole digger was a boss in the dirt!

Work s great in dirt ,but don't hit a rock, it will stop the auger dead and if you have not a good grip it will hurt you ,, other than that it works great

Easy start..handles better than I thought it would..digs great. Does what it's supposed to.. A good tool at a good price..

Ordered digger for small fencing job- 30 post holes. It performed flawlessly, more than paid for itself. Contractor wanted 5k for the job, I did it for 1600.00 in materials including the cost of the digger. $$$$ saved!

Very nice product ,well built with good quality ,easy to use. Was as advertised from sender. Has great attachments for different uses, very light and easy for one person to use. No problems understanding operating instructions or assembly instructions

I’m a none owner and in the middle of a fence build my old auger gave out with transmission issues. I needed an inexpensive quick fix and I bought this auger. It is an excellent tool and drills a hole faster and deeper than my old auger. I am very impressed. Vevor is my to go to store right now.

Absolutely worth every penny, I have used it all over the farm to plant trees, set posts for my buildings and fences. Even used it for my new mailbox! Works perfectly

I used this tool to dig MANY posts in hard clay. It powered through them without an issue. It starts easily, runs great, and has a lot of power. My only 'complaint' is that it does not have any type of a shock relief system (such as a spring) in the auger path. This means that if you hit a rock, root, or other obstruction you better have a grip on it as it will darned near rip your arms off. It also causes the cotter pins to deform/wear which causes them to jam at times, necessitating a bit of work with a file to get them in/out again. These issues are not deal breakers though; and I am extremely satisfied with the product, you can NOT go wrong for the price, it is a beast.
