Our yard is all clay and it did the job quickly ! Im impressed for the price and job it does. I'd say, don't rent and buy this !!!

Great piece of equipment made digging the holes so much easier. Look forward to using it many more times.

Arrived on time /promptly, easy to assemble, started easily one to two pulls, worked great used the 10" auger, dug 30"+deep holes in clay dirt, hit a few roots which stopped the auger blade but once I cut them unit worked flawlessly.

Had no issue going through hard red clay. Just hang on tight and keep your arms close to you. I've only used the larger attachment and have gone about 18-20" deep with it. As everyone else has stated, the start trigger is plastic and likely will break. The choke is in the opposite direction and it isn't even spelled correctly. I still highly recommend this as you can't beat the price and performance.

I was pleasantly surprised. This thing worked great. It was well worth the investment at what i thought was a reasonableprice. It performed great in a mostly slate ground with some clay mixed in. We had a few holes we hit rocks in and had to bust them with a bar. Other than that. It worked great.

Very good machine and easy to use

Sure beats using a post hole digger by hand.

Made installing new fence posts a quick and easy job. I put in about 50 posts and couldn't have done it without this machine. A post hole digger takes around fifteen minutes to dig out. This machine takes around one minute to do the job. Dug all the holes in two hours and almost made it all without refueling. So I'm pretty impressed at how well this operated. I'd definitely recommended this for anyone needing to dig post holes for any reason.
