This is a good unit at a great price. Plenty of torque, in fact, if it had any more I would have broken my arm. It was easy to put together right out of the box even though the directions are a little hazy. One of two drawbacks and the reason for the four star ratings, the box was missing two bolts needed to secure the handles to the motor. The second, I live in a place that has heavy caliche just under the soil and this unit just would not penetrate it or cut it out. It would just spin and polish it as smooth as glass and make it hard as concrete. It does fine in regular soil up until I hit the caliche. I would buy this unit again and will continue to use this one it better soil.

Watch out for roots and rocks that can jam up the drilling process it can twist your body causing injury.

Works great. Starts Everytime. Easy to put together and started right away straight out of the box. I would definitely recommend! Great bang for the buck!!

This is a quality product It performs like no other My husband didn't have to break his back digging post holes this did the job and he also used it to plant our fruit trees It was lightweight compared to others he's used but sturdy enough to get the job done We have had it for months now and it's very reliable !

This post auger was super easy to assemble. Once I got it together and fueled it up, it started immediately. I simply primed it with the primer bulb and pulled the starter rope. I didn't even have to use the choke. I drilled 3 holes to plant some mums. I started with the 6" auger first, then the 10". Get a good grip on the handles, this auger has excellent power.

This post hole digger is well worth the price. It has a lot of power enough to dig hard clay soil, but you need to have a good stable stand otherwise it will jerk you because of its power. I used the 10\" bit to dig 30\" deep. It is amazingly fast and easy to use. The best part is the Seller is extremely customer caring and took care of my problem very quickly.

Very nice product ,well built with good quality ,easy to use. Was as advertised from sender. Has great attachments for different uses, very light and easy for one person to use. No problems understanding operating instructions or assembly instructions

Fast , string , exceeded all exoectations . Dug 40 inches deep 15 inch square holes by drilling center and 4 cirners down . Drills to 3 foot deep 8 incges around in brown dirt in on 5 seconds or so . Maybe less .

Was a spur purchase to reduce hand digging sign post, made auger extention. Worked so well i am wondering why i had not bought one sooner. Buyi g was cheaper than renting from local rental store.

Great machine. Was very surprised at the power. Went through packed gravel then hard packed red clay with ease. Highly recommended
