A advanced thermal imaging device
The technology has come a long way. This thermal imaging portable unit is a great thing to have. The unit has an SD card that can hold over a few hundred thousand images. The device will help you find leaks in HVAC or hot water pipes. This is a very useful piece of equipment and I would recommend it.

Absolutely game changing!
I wanted this product to analyze my house for heat / cold loss. Here in Texas, it is pretty cold right now so it was a good opportunity to see how it went. This product feels like it is built very well and comes with a charging cable as well as a nice case for it as well. After charging it I turned it on and that is when the excitement started. This thing shows me all the hot spots and cold spots in my house! To test it out I pointed it to a place where I knew there was no insulation in my attic and it showed that it was a cold spot since it was 72 degrees in my house and 34 degrees outside this made sense. So off to the home center I go and buy some insulation and put it in where it was needed. Went back to the house and pointed at the location and it showed the insulation was adequate. To further prove the point there was a triangle area that I did not insulate and it showed that exactly. This will show you the studs in your wall for the most part as well.If there is a downside to this it is the documentation. It is not very good as far as helping you understand how to use the different settings and things. It would go a long way to have some documentation like how to Find Missing Insulation, How to Find Water Leaks, etc. If you go to YouTube there are plenty of videos out there to help you interpret the results.Another aspect that could use some explanation is it says it is compatible with software and I have seen some online but not sure how that works so I will be looking into that as well.At the end of the day, I say absolutely yes to this product!!

Easy to use - portable handheld camera
PROS:* Compact* Sturdy* Easy to use* Automatically creates temp gradient based upon what it is being pointed at* Easy trigger recording and screen capture* Easy readable display* Decent resolution* Decent range* Has built-in work lightCONS:* Display resolution may limit you some* Some items may be harder to identify from a distanceThis is a feature packed thermal imager. If you are doing diagnostics or need to troubleshoot items based upon heat (eg: locating electrical failures, analyzing heat flows, troubleshooting fried circuits and electrical components) this will work well. The compact size lets it get into some harder to reach areas easily that larger cameras may not be able to fit. From turning it on, I was up and running this unit within about 30 seconds. You get prompted for the language and then you are basically up and running. The unit has advanced controls that let you adjust the temperature units and other parameters, but outside of changing Celsius to Fahrenheit - there was not much I needed to change. The unit comes with a charging/data cable and a 64GB Kingston memory card. The batteries are self contained and charge fairly quickly over the included USB-C charge cable.Use of the unit is pretty self explanatory. The unit automatically finds the high and low temp for the area that it is being pointed at. Based upon that, it determines a color temperature gradient. This may be slightly disorienting if you are moving the unit around a lot (causes a lot of visual remapping) but otherwise it works well once you get used to it. It puts a + pointer on the screen to indicate the center of the image where it is pointed, the point of highest temperature and the lowest temperature. For closer imaging this unit works very well. I ran into some issues with distance. For something near (within about 20 feet or so) the unit seems to identify objects well. However items from a very far distance (like 100 yards) may just show as tiny specs or be completely unidentifiable
