Home use
Did not realize how much plastic slicer has. Have not used it yet so hard to say what the quality of the slicer. Not sure how to sharpen the blade or how quickly they go dull

Works great. Strong motor and sharp blade. We love how easily it can slice through meat.

This thing will slice cheese so thin it only has one side. It slices meat frozen or thawed. This makes home slicers a very bad buy.

Nice Unit
I have only used it for three different items so far. I haven't had any meat to slice yet. I sliced Cheese, green tomatoes, and potatoes. It does a really good job of that. It's easy to use and pretty easy to clean. I wish the slide bed was a little larger. Will probably have to cut my meat in half to slice it if my cut is too large. The power seems to be there if needed. Time will tell.

The 10" is the way to go and the price was the lowest. When you get down to this price range, they are all made by the same company. I just tried this last evening and I bought Ham and salami and a brick of cheese. I was waiting to see how the cheese went through, thin slice. It was perfect on the 1/8" cheese slicing and all of the rest was very thin. The cheese was 4' x 4". The ham was already sliced but that didn't stop me. I put it through and shaved it and did some very thin slices. I bought all the meats and cheeses and sliced all of them up and sealed them in a vacuum machine and froze them for the next 9 months. What a savings. Just know which Ham you should buy for the 100% meat and flavor.

Great for home or a small kitchen. I'm a cook but I needed something small for home use and lucky I found this.

Great slicer
My wife bought a cheap little slicer to slice her bread with, she makes our own. It is small, grossly under powered and, there are ZERO safety features to protect your fingers from the sharp spinning blade!! So, I turned to a name I am learning quickly, that I can trust for quality and price! VEVOR. If I was mandated to find one negative thing to say about VEVOR, I suppose it would be that they are not consistent with shipping. Some things are shockingly fast while others, I start to worry I did something wrong in ordering. With regards to this slicer....PLENTY of power to slice through even dense sourdough bread! It is easy to assemble what little you need to. It looks so nice, that my wife who is EXTREMELY picky about what is out on her counters, proudly displays her VEVOR slicer! From the husband perspective, one down side that I find fairly consistently with VEVOR, is the instructions as more often than not, useless! I think most folks can figure it out but, are they really losing any real great profit if they put just a wee bit more effort into instructions manuals? For instance, this slicer. It is advertised and does come with a self sharpening system AND an extra sharpening wheel. But NO where, do you get even a remote idea, how to use it! I'm still a bit baffled. Another nice feature might be a parts list with a source to obtain replacement parts would be great. VEVOR has great prices....but is it going to elevate the price of products that drastically to provide instructions IN ENGLISH, and a parts list and parts source? I hope not... just that wee bit of tweaking VEVOR, ad you're over the top!

Excellent product for a great price point. Would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality home slicer. This product is our favorite of all products we have purchased from Vevor.

It's big! It's bad! That's almost all I have to say. I research the crap out of everything I buy from items $20 and up. I have a $60 brand name slicer that just feels cheap with its plastic everything and light weight. Good luck slicing anything frozen and try to stop it from sliding around. Dangerous. I would challenge any of the $400 to $800 slicers against this Vevor that I paid only $250. It is heavy (35lbs) but needs to be so it won't slide around when slicing frozen meat. This all metal slicer just feels like a commercial product. Once you figure out how to take apart to clean and how to use the sharpening stone you will love this slicer.
