We purchased this unit to slice bacon in our home butcher shop. For the price, this unit has performed significantly better than we could have expected. We have sliced a couple hundred pounds of bacon without the first issue. Sharpening the blade takes a little practice, but thats the case with any slicer of this style. If you don't plan to cut 1000 lbs of meat every day, this unit is definitely a reasonable option for a small shop or deli.

Only improvement would have been to put an instruction manual versus having me search the web to operation and care after use. Otherwise, it does everything as described. I love it.

This is one nice slicer. It was great for meat and cheese. Easy cleanup. I really like the self sharpener that comes with it. I definitely would recommend and would purchase again.

Wonderful slicer for the money made 40 lbs of jerky with it sliced 2 bushel cucumbers large enough yo slice a beef strip whoe into steaks love it

Works great. Makes quick work of slicing beef for jerky. Much better than the smaller/cheaper one we used to have.

Have used it mostly for meat, we make our own bacon and such and it has performed flawlessly. Made a whole ribeye and sliced the leftover super thin for some great roast beef sandwiches.

The 10 inch, 150 watt meat slicer gets the job done. Quality build ensures a very sturdy work surface. I’ve sliced delicate apples to frozen beef for jerky and it gets the job done. This is not one of those appliances that you dread using because you hate cleaning it. Easily disassembled in less than a minute. Love that built on blade sharpener, but have not needed to use it yet because the blade hasn’t dulled. Reassembly is fast. Maintence required is basically just a little bit of food grade mineral oil and you’re all set for the next use. Don’t want to forget to let you know, it’s supper quite.
