This door is made of high quality material and was super easy to install with clear instructions including the amount of clearance and the size of opening needed as well as a QR code video incase you are better at watching than reading. It shipped quickly and when I had a problem some time after installation, customer service responded right away. They kindly guided me through some trouble shooting and ended up sending me a replacement motor which arrived in a matter of days. I like that this door is low profile compared to some I looked at and that it came in a few different colors to compliment a variety of coops. My previous door was bigger, but with the dimensions given, I was able to easily modify and it works perfectly. The automatic door is so nice when I want to get up later or go to bed earlier than my girlfr-hen-ds, which is also ideal for when I need a chicken sitter. (Plus the Slovenia shaped chicken kind of makes you feel like you have more hens in your flock ; )

Love this automatic door it’s low profile design and very easy to install vs other doors. The gear design works well and acts as vents for some airflow to pass through.

This was very easy to install (once I cut the hole, that was another story). I use the time option in the morning--opens at 7am--and the light sensor for closing. I have not had any issues with it. It keeps doing what it is supposed to every day.

You can set this chicken door to open according to the light outside or the time of day or even a combination. For example, you want the door to open at 6:30 a.m. and close when it is starting to get dark out. Pretty cool.
