My husband just out this in for me today, so I can’t really review how it works long term ( I’ll update if we have any problems) but so far I love it. We had it put up in 20 minutes, using only a drill and a level. It seems very sturdy, and was very easy to set up the timer. My only concern is that even on the lowest setting the door seems to come down fairly hard. We’ll see if that’s actually an issue.

I read all the reviews and wasn’t 100% sure about it but being a new chicken parent I needed to do something. The ladies would start screaming around 6am and I don’t always get up that early and I have neighbors who dont either. I recently rescued five 3 year old hens. They put themselves to bed around 8:30, the door goes down at 9pm. I go out and double check on them before bed and toss a handful of wormies and food on the ground. So when the door Goes up at 6am there is a little snack on the ground for them to search out and they remain quiet! It’s perfect.The auto door has worked out perfectly. Super happy I bought it. And I’m sure my neighbors are too

Excellent product. It has made our life so much easier, we no longer have to be home before dark. Timer is very easy to adjust. Perfect size for large rooster.

I am currently testing the door. I will be installing after the testing stage. As soon as door passes my testing stage I will install on my chicken coop.

Worked this morning with wind chills at -45! If you get a freezing rain event, it sometimes won't work. The sensor for daylight didn't really work for me but the open and close timer works as it should. Combining a huge feeder and a cooler with heating cable, small aerator and chicken nipples with this door-raising chickens is mindlessly easy. $7 dollars a dozen for eggs no more!

I had some issues with shipping, but Vevor came through for me. The Coop door is working great. I have it set 7am open and 7pm closed. It's such a pain to have to open the coop up and close it every day. This is a great purchase to keep our chickens safe. We have possums and skunks that terrorize our chickens at night. This Chicken door solved that problem.

I was not happy with the product because it was defective, however, VEVOR has great Customer Service and they worked to make it right. I appreciate that!

Solid construction with metal gears.Would be better if it would close after a settable delay after sundown.Easy to install.Overall I am very satisfied.

I looked at more elaborate solar chicken coup doors and just couldn't justify $300. I found this Vevor door for under $100 and it is perfect. It was super easy to setup and program. it was super easy to install in my existing door opening. It works flawlessly everyday. It opens at day break and the chickens find their way out when they are ready. Then it is set to close at 6 PM, well after they come in to roost. Everyday with no intervention on my part. The directions for use are a bit sketchy, but once you start moving through the menus, it becomes obvious and easy. I really didn't expect it to work as well as it does. It seems like a cheap build, but really it is perfect.
