Cheapest you can get with par quality than the popular chains.

A bit difficult to install. Best to try to install and learn how to do it before having to do it in the cold on the road. Also be careful with the cord which pulls out. When you push the button to stow it, it snaps back really hard and can hurt your hands. Must use good gloves, not the toy ones they include in the shipping.

Honestly, I've never had to use snow chains in my life, but I drive in the mountains often enough that I always keep a pair in my vehicle just in case. I got a new truck and needed a larger pair than what I had previously, so I figured I would give these a try. They seem like they are good quality, sized correctly, and easy enough to put on. There were no surprises; they came as advertised. I may never use them on the road, but the peace of mind of knowing that they are there if I need them is worth having.

These are easier to put on compared to the ones that you have to drive over and move your car to install. Of course most snow chains nowadays are like this so it's not the major thing setting them apart, I'd say its the quality manganese material, along with the price. As for a reviewer complaining about them breaking at 25mph, well it clearly says in the description to not exceed 18mph. These are for SNOW covered or icy roads, not dry paved roads, who knows what sort of condition that person was driving around in or how they installed them. The installation is simple enough although not fun to do in the cold nothing really is. I like the carrying case that's a big improvement from the bulky box that I used to have this can lay flat and take up less space. Overall a good product

I'm new to tire chains but these go on easy and come in a nice storage case. They appear to be well made. I got these to keep in my car when traveling out west. Will update my review after trying them out. They seem like a good value for tire chains.

First time owning snow chains so I can't compare these to the competition for ease of installation, but appears to be a good design. Haven't used them on ice yet, but I did install one in dry weather to get some practice before getting real exposure in freezing conditions.

Ordered for the mtns. Promptly got stuck pulling a camp trailer in 8" of snow with F250. Put these on the front, in a rut even a little wonky because hole was deep and the auto tighteners worked like a champ. zero complaints but will test them on all fours this winter. zero complaints so far! I think the only change I would (will) make is painting the hook in front a different color that is aligned with the latch hook in back. This makes it so you can put it at the top and just reach over the top of the tire to release the back cable during removal. Also, the cables could be a touch longer for when you buried them deep. otherwise, A+.
