The motor I'm writing the review for is the second motor I got from this company. The first one burned up due to my mistakenly ordering one to small. Their customer service was great. Responses were within a few hours after sending any questions or comments. Even though it was my fault with the first motor, the company worked with me on getting the right size motor at a better price than what was online. I would buy from them again based on the quality of customer service.
I didn't think that the motor would turn my five horse air compressor but it does it does a great job have it now for 6 months or so and still running smooth and keep it up with everything
Great price came quickly and easy to configure for 115 volts. Have not been running it yet still working on project but definetly a great price compared to other 2 hp electric motors online.
Its been a year now since I installed this motor on my Husky 80 gallon compressor. It is permanently mounted outside of my shop in the exposed elements and this motor just keeps on trucking. A lot quieter than the original motor that was on there.
I inherited a 50 year old Craftsman I wanted to get going in honor of Pop. The old 1hp wouldn't start the compressor. This 2 hp was a perfect fit and worked fine. I had to switch the wiring to 110, some of the internal wire # labels were difficult to view but not a issue. Great instructions with color pictures. I like the sound of a piston pump with oil in the crank better than the pancake's buzzzzz. Will need a wire strain relief for the motor feed wire.
I had this motor for my compressor for about two months, currently smelling like its burning and overheats a lot, making it turn off and on constantly, last me 2 months and i believe its time to replace it
Priced Reasonable, Done The Job, Easy To Install, Shipped Quickly, Just Have to Watch What Voltage Your Hooking Up, As The Motor May Be Wired For 120v When You May Of Wanted 220v, So You Have to Read Schematic Shown To Change Over.
