Does a good job

I bought this to peel my quail eggs faster. But the way it destroys the eggs when peeling makes them unusable for pickling and selling! I need someone to contact me to fix this issue.

Ok I was super hesitant about purchasing this quail egg peeler because I heard such mixed reviews. I didn’t want to invest in a almost $100 product that may or may not work…. Wow…. Sooooo worth it. If you are on the fence and have a lot of quail eggs you peel look no further and buy now. This product is amazing. HOWEVER you HAVE to follow the directions to a “t”. If you do your results will be almost perfect!!!! 98% of my eggs peeled PERFECTLY only a few was SLIGHTLY imperfect NONE were messed up so bad they were unusable!!!! That is unbelievable to me!!! I peeled 4 at a time with this machine I kid you not and all 4 were peeled in 3 seconds or so. What normally would take me HOURS took me MINUTES!!!!!

I got this for my dad for father's Day and he uses the hell out of this and loves it!

First off, a warning. When I pulled this out of thr box, it was loosely secured with foam blocks. It must have shifted during transit cause it was dented and the cord compression fitting was broken off the back. The broken fitting allowed the wire to be pulled and pulled the ground wire off the machine. I was able to reconnect it but the wires were very short inside the motor housing so it wasn't gonna take much for the cord to come loose.On to the machine function itself. It runs very quiet. The rollers work great and peels the eggs with ease as long as you use water. The water pipe that it mounted in it does not have a very long connection on the right side. It came with a hose and clamps to use but the clamps don't want to stay on that small stubout. You're gonna want to glue a 1/2" pvc coupling and pvc pipe extension into it for any water connections. If they would leave 1" of pvc sticking out, it would be great. If you do not use water, the eggs get dry and then start to stick to the rollers. It will tear up eggs if they are not wet. This unit really does need a water supply to use it to its full potential. It ran great if I poured water on while eggs were rolling but again, if I tossed eggs in and didn't pour water in right then, those eggs would stick until they got wet. The egg shells were also removed better from the rollers if they were wet. Other than that, not a bad machine for thr money. I peeled 100 eggs in less than 3 min.

Works great!! You do have to push doe. On the eggs sometimes to get them to peel but it’s not hard and it works very well!

As a person who raises quail I know full well how quickly the eggs can stock up, lol. I give away a lot but also like boiling them for many uses. I have tried different "easier peeling" methods but finally decided to try this product. I peeled around 18 dozen so over 200 eggs in about 15 minutes on my first use. Around a dozen had tears but that was mainly during the first few minutes of learning to use it. I definitely recommend it. A few tips to make it easier: Boil your eggs properly(many guides online). Pre-crack the shells in a bowl/pot with with and some water. Keep rollers wet at all times. Use a bigger shell catch bowl(like in my pictures). Go slow at first with 1 or 2 eggs at a time then work your way up to 5 or 4 at a time. My only issue with I feel needs addressing is not that big of an issue but worth mentioning. The shell/membrane can get wrapped around the rollers, an idea would be make the side panels quick release which could make cleaning easier. I carefully used a chop stick in between the side panel and roller to stop the shell/membrane from rolling causing it to fall in the bowl. Over all though it is a great product and I will be using it again soon since I need to boil more eggs.
