Brass bevel gear is all wrong
I have a bridgeport mill, it took some work to make this fit. All of the issue is in the fit of the brass gear. 1st problem: the key on the shaft is bigger than the slot on the gear. 2nd problem: the brass gear is too long and I had to take .33" off the end so that the turn handle and nut would fit. 3rd problem: the steel lock nut wouldn't thread onto the brass part, had to use the plastic nut that came in the kit. I dont have any time using it yet but seems like it'll be fine otherwise.

The price is right and functions adequately.
This unit installs easily if you are prepared to do just a little fiddling. It may be a one for one swap on some mills. I have a J head Bridgeport. ON this mill I noted as was explained on other reviews that the brass gear and extension requires cutting down to allow the manual handwheel to be installed. This is a fairly easy process if you have a lathe and expanding mandrel to hold the part. I shave off .250" and could have taken another .125 off to get full nut engagement on the retaining nut. I also took a 1/8 inch thick file and ran it the length of the keyway to allow fittiing to the Bridgeport key. No big deal. I am sure you will encounter the same issues with your mill. Nice running unit once installed. This took about an hour to put on once the Bridgeport feed was removed and area cleaned.

Fits Sharp mill
I put this on a Sharp mill. It took about an hour to install. Making sure to clean everything that came off the mill and grease it all well. I followed the instructions on shimming the motor and it has been working well for the last few months now.The brass gear collar needs to be trimmed down about 0.25-0.375" in length to fit the Sharp mill. With the length it comes you get maybe half a nuts worth of engagement on the handle retaining nut. Can either turn it down on a lath or cut it down on the mill you're putting this on.I have also noticed at lower speeds, sometimes the motor doesn't want to engage when switching to power feed. You have to give the speed dial a small jerk and that will get the motor going. But once it is going it has had no problems feeding at whatever speeds I set it to. For the price I paid, even with the quirks, I don't know why I didn't buy one sooner.EDIT:I went back and looked at the brass piece. If you were to trim it down the ball end of the handle would interfere with the motor housing. So the handle itself would also need to be trimmed on one side as well. I have been running it as is for a while and it has been fine. Eventually I'll get to trimming it down.

Works great on a H.F. knee mill!
Bought this X axis power feed for a Harbor Freight Knee Mill. While it likely is a direct fit for a Bridgeport, I was easily able to adapt it to my Mill. I mounted it by drilling holes into the casting and tapping them for the supplied bolts. I drilled holes and installed set screws to attach the gear to the existing shaft. The drive works perfectly and is a great value.

Simple install
I have a jet 8X36 Jet mill. I used an electric impact with Allen sockets. Start to finish installed in about an hour. I spent about 15 minutes shimming the gear correctly. Assembled, worked perfect.

Great value!
Installed the drive on a 9x42 Jet mill, it fit perfect and installed in about 30 minutes. So far with the proper shims the thing runs smooth and quiet. Directions are sketchy but I’m more of a picture guy anyway so no problem. It was a great price, I purchased one of the opened boxes for 127.00 the box gets tossed anyway, product was perfect.
