Wire stripper purchased for $185.48. $159.90 for the tool, $9.59 shipping and Protection Plan $15.99. Issue with the speed controller. 1/2 the dial doesn't do anything, 1/4 the motor buzzes and doesn't turn, 1/4 the motor spins slow. I have no confidence in this product and want to get a refund. I started emails that stating I want a refund and asked return shipping label. They had me try some trouble shooting, replace the brushes, replace the fuse. Each of my 8 emails stated that didn't fix it, I would like a refund, please send a return label. Their last email offered me two options, $102 refund or sending out a new tool. $102 WTF, I paid $185 and $15.99 was 1 year protection plan. This tool is a week old out of the box and doesn't work like it should. Vevor isn't know for quality tools however, I expected better customer service. I was wrong. Be very careful buying Vevor products. If there are positive updates on my attempt to get a refund I will update the review

A piece of junk wasted money

Doesn't cut smaller gauge wire very well at all. Buy something of better quality.

Good price but would much rather pay $150 for one that actually works. The wire falls off the roller every 6 inches. Waste of money. Not to mention, their return policy doesn’t allow you to return it after use. So once you use it and see how bad it is, it’s too late.

Never recieved, shipped 3/18/26 and is still in NJ

This shit broke with in 3 times of using it and it’s the most difficult thing to get it repaired or replaced by these people even after paying insurance on the item crazy.

I’ve only used the machine twice the first time it only cut the plastic cover in spots wich I had to finish with a box cutter, the second time on larger wire the machine did better but I the drive motor started smoking and got hot and stopped. I’m going to try it again today and will let you know how it goes. Very disappointed!

It arrived with the dullest blade I've ever seen, so no biggie I'll just buy a replacement blade, but NO, you can't find a replacement blade on their own damn site so I took a chance with what I thought was the right blade but NO, so I'm giving you one last chance by buying the next bigger vevor wire stripper so it's arriving on Tuesday so I'll let you know if the next model up is any better, hopefully I can give it a good review

Received an electric shock from touching the frame twice on its first time of use. It now trips the RCD upon operation. Upon investigation, found that the machinery is not even earthed. Awaiting response from customer support 26 hours after contacting them. (Claim to respond within 24 hours).
