I bought this to be able to paint my stairwell. I purchased this along with Vevor's 16ft. telescoping ladder. These products made me feel very safe in what can be a scary area to paint for some.

Ok, we have to be honest. This product is basic and not perfectly engineered…but it was easy to assemble and definitely feels safe. As for the assembly reviews that I read from others… I’m not sure if they’ve corrected all the issues or if I just got a good batch, but the I got two different sizes of bolts that perfectly matched the holes. I think a couple of lock washers were in order but I can add those for a few cents from the local hardware store. As for the ‘basic’ comment. The chain assembly makes no sense. I’ll use the chains to keep the rods with device, but the coder pins are plenty sufficient to keep the rods in place. I’m not messing with adding a ring on both sides every time. Also, the holes aren’t even drilled properly to use all three rods, but two feels safe and sufficient. Over all. I’m happy with the device. Of course my step ladder is 1” too wide so I do wish it was a little wider, but it’ll do. Assembled in ~10 min.

very good product, used it a coup-le of times in my basement stairwell stable strong base never moved. I am not a small person so it held my weight and the ladder weight no problem. I would recommend this item.

This is a Great rig. I needed it for high walls to hang some picture right above a staircase. It worked perfect. I used some C clamps to affix it to the railing just for safety. It a must have for high walls for a ladder on a stairway. Great Product, Great Price and Fast Shipping.

I ordered this because I’m about to paint my two story foyer and the stair case makes it difficult to use an extension ladder. This stair extension is ideal for enabling me to use the ladder in positions I would not otherwise be able to. It’s solidly built and by design can be adjusted in small increments so that it matches the stair riser heights perfectly. Assembly is pretty simple but the instructions aren’t exactly great. Though I won’t use this very often it saved me from having to rent a piece of Baker staging and pretty much paid for itself in one use.

Great product and super stable. Was able to use this to hang crown molding above the stairs. Seems to be of quality that will last a lifetime.

Very adjustable and sturdy. Locks in place with two heavy duty pins. Great for painting hard to reach areas above stairs.

This was a perfect solution for setting up a ladder on stairs. The only issue I had was that my ladder was to wide for the platform. I ended setting the ladder half on the extension and my wife supported the ladder just in case. The ladder was very sturdy even though I could not fit on the platform completely. I installed blinds on 3 windows over stairs with a 15’ extension ladder on this platform and I am still here to write the review so overall it’s a great product!
