Works great
Easy to install and works great. I would rather have a connection terminal to add a wired remote button to open or close the door instead of a battery remote control that gets lost.

Works Great!
Love having this new door. It took 4 days/evenings for me and the chickens to figure the close setting. It went down the first 3 evenings without everyone inside. I set it to the latest closing time and on the 4th night they were all tucked inside. Will likely re-learn in the spring since the doors are shut here.... At night -15.

Cheap and easy gets job done
Works well. Been using foot for about 4 months with no issues. Easier to install with 2 people but could do it alone if needed.

I would recommend this unit.
Best value out there. It has been working perfectly for 6 weeks so far and looks like it will last. It really HOLDS the door shut so I do not worry about anyone breaking into my coop in the night. I had to modify the door because the inclosed "hinge" tripped the in-door-way sensor while closing, but this was easy to do. I wish it had a timer to delay the opening of the door because it opens at first light, which foxes tend to run, but this can be fixed by using the remote. I would buy again.

Spencer J- great product, easy to install.
Big fan. Very reliable. I bought the photo sensor model due to sometimes going on an evening out with my wife and no one home to shut in the chickens. Had a few incidents where we didn't make it home on time and foxes, possums or raccoons had a small feast.I'm also installing a solar trickle charger and indicator to my 12 volt battery for extra life and verification that it remains functional. Remote works from my house, which is about 40 yards aways. Buy a A27 battery when you purchase, they are hard to find in stores. Also you need to have an outlet nearby or rig it to a 12v car/lawnmower battery like I did.

I found it easy to install. Works like it should.
Easy install powered it up with a 12v battery, solar panel and cheap charge controller that I had laying around. So far very happy.

A little confusing?
Easy assembly, however once you use the remote it seems to override the photo cell and it will only work with remote until you disconnect power and reboot it. I assume that's normal and it seems others complained door only works on remote.

Love it!!!!
Love love love this!!!!! It took yhem getting locked outside the door a few times to figure out to be inside before dark. But they watched an older Hen and got it down. I love not worrying if we closed the coop. This is amazing!
