This product is a must have for chicken coop owners. Especially ones that are constantly on the go. With the auto lite sensor device, this product is the one for anybody who is busy enough as it is yet along remembering to close the coop before bed. Two thumbs up.

This product works well. My chickens took only a day to use it freely.

Ordered this as we like to sleep later than the chickens. This came in quickly, easy to put in, doesn’t take much time. The wire on the sensor was not tightened down with screw very well so when it did not work initially, hubby backtracked to find the issue, tightened the screw & wire down and viola! We had power to the sensor. I walked out to the chicken house tonight just to check to see if the thing worked properly and yes! It does work. All chickens were inside & settled! So thankful I came across this on amazon. DH had no intention of opening the chicken house door every morning the rest of our years together. Thank you!

I wish the remote came with batteries I didn't see anywhere on the box or instructions what type of batteries to use for it . I sent a email just waiting for a response.

If you have a little bit of handyman skills then this is a breeze to install. All of the electronics are there. It is actually quite nice. I added a battery and a solar panel and now I am in business.

Easy to put together and install. Doors opens and closes just as it says it will at dawn and dark. So far has worked perfectly.

I work with electronics and this is well built. The infrared sensor has the range just right to sense a bird in the doorway, but not beyond. The light sensor closes the door well after the birds are inside and opens it sooner than I would. The motor does seem a little wimpy, however. I think the voltage might be a bit on the weak side. I still need to take some measurements but I'm thinking the power adapter needs to be higher current. One thing I wanted was for the chicken coop light to come on when the door closes so I made a little circuit using 4 diodes and a latching relay hooked up to the motor output. It works great so that when the door closes, the light comes on for the night. I'm told the birds lay more eggs when you do this. Anyway, I would buy this door opener again.
