Works well and stirs nicely.

Although when we initially opened the box, it looked dirty and like it had been used before, it has always worked well. We are using it to mix chlorine and tissue culture solutions.

The heating plate and temperature probe work flawlessly. The motor for the magnetic mixer worked great for the first couple of gallons of sodium silicate I made (mixed in 600ml batches) but proved to be undersized for the weight of the magnets that it was required to spin. I contacted the seller, their customer service is great! When I learned they were out of stock and a replacement would take a long time. I told them I preferred to replace the motor myself and they gave me a partial refund that more than covered the cost of a new motor. I also plan on replacing the magnets with lighter weight neodymium magnets (which will also be paid for with the refund) And in the end I'm very happy, with a product that performs just as well as something three times the cost.

Works well, heats up, and stirs nicely. I personally could not get it to stay at the temperature I wanted, it would get there and then exceed it. Not really to much of a problem for what I was doing though.

Works for small volumes of liquids. The heater is VERY small so pre-heat if you are in a rush, Solid product will work for years....
