Great deal. the lathe was light, easy to set up, delivered with no damage to product. New to machining can't wait use it!

I was somewhat skeptical about this purchase back when I got it in June 2025. This lathe has been running since June and has done quite a bit of machining and is being used in my machine shop. My machine shop is small scale, but still does jobs. I have machined up to 1.25 aluminum round stock with it. This lathe works great on steel, tool steel, brass, aluminum, and plastic. The only thing I would change is the tool post, opt for a quick change tool post right off the bat. You do need to do a mandatory clean down when purchasing this machine. The only large con to this lathe is threading. It can be a challenge because you have to change out each gear for different thread pitches, which can easily be solved with a tap and die kit. I've done heavy machining with this and it's keeping up! Definitely recommend this lathe!

It is what it is. We all know you pay for what you get. And this is right on point. I have used it for the last 3 years and it is held up to some pretty intense turning. You would need to tighten it up and calibrate it before using. But like I said it is what it is and you pay for what you get. So overall it is a fantastic product for what you paid for

This metal lathe works great. This lathe does not come with any cutting tools. I purchased some carbide cutting tools. The tail stock wobble lots when not locked down. I think I need to adjust it.

Many of the reviews I read prior to getting the lathe urged caution regarding expectations. Although the shipping crate had seen better days, there was no damage to the device. All the bits and baubles that were advertised were present. I am quite satisfied with this purchase.

very fast delivery and a very good lath

I purchased this lathe to learn how to use a lathe and have learned a lot and have already created a couple of tools and today will be doing a small plastic project for a friend. I've added several upgrades such as a quick change tool system, a live centering tool on the tail stock, and a drill chuck for the tail stock. I'm already planning on upgrading to a professional lathe.

Still in box. Haven't had a chance to use it yet but was well packed and seems to be fine. Hope to use it soon. Will update review

Good and heavy

Impressive. Lathe arrived in just a few days via FedEx. Product was well packed/protected. The lathe itself was very impressive. Everything lined up perfectly. Lathe gibs did need fine adjustments , but that was expected. For an economy priced basic metal lathe I was very impressed.
