I love my VEVOR Outdoor Stair Railing Kit, 3 FT Handrails 2-3 Steps, Adjustable Angle White Aluminum Stair Hand Rail. I bought it on August 8, 2023. The hand rail was well packaged with no damage and with all the parts. The shipping was fast. I did not like the mounting bolts that came with the hand rail because I could not find a 10mm masonry bit that would drill my concrete porch. I bought a Bosch 5/8” Bulldog masonry bit (about $14), and eight 3/8”, 3” long lag shields with bolts and galvanized washers. Lowes sells them in a 2-pack for about $4. I used a rotary hammer drill for the holes. A regular drill and cheap drill bit did not work for me – I wasted several days trying. This is important: make several different size pilot holes using smaller bits because it is hard to start the hole with a 5/8” bit..

I installed three of these, in line, on “railroad tie” type steps in my yard. Normally it would be easy to install these but the wood steps weren’t level and that would magnify the error up the railing pole. I had to use a belt sander and chisel to level the wood where I mounted the railing. Perhaps the provided expansion bolts work well in concrete but not in wood. I purchased lag screws to mount the railing. I’m happy with the end result and the railings serve their purpose.

The handrails for both of our farmhouse porches looks great. It blends well with the new vinyl fencing.We were impressed how it was easy to install & the stability it offers. I highly recommend this product.

I put one on each side of my front steps. Used 1.5" lag bolts at the top and 3.5" ones at the bottom because the wood is thicker at the bottom. The stanchions will take a lot to break loose. My only concern is the connection between stanchion and rail. It seems to be the weak point.

Easy to install looks good not the strongest but works.
