Hi all,I like this item.It works real well. Was able to remove two way radio volume controls from a kapton type flexible circuit board.I did not ruin the kapton! This is very good. Shows thermal stability, and a strong suction pump.Should have gotten something like this years ago.Be well.Mike in Virginia Beach VA

I use this to build custom keyboards, I originally used a solder sucker for a whole 2 seconds then immediately order this and man does it make life a lot easier. If you have a lot to desolder as I do with switches on a keyboard this is the right tool and cheaper than some.

Very good to use in desoldering

Love this desoldering pump . way cheaper than the $500 station type and does the same thing . Heats up fast and good vacuum . Jut keep it cleaned out and your good to go . If your used to to the cheap manual hand suckers then you will want to kick your self for waiting to get one of these .***** TIP OF THE DAY ***** when done using he soldering pump turn the heat up to 450 c let heat up then point the nozzle up and hit the suction button/trigger and it will clean the solder out more easily then just using the ram rod cleaner alone .

Finally got the chance to use the vacuum soldering tool. In a way it helps having 2 in 1Then having two separate tools. Cause by the time you use the pump sucker tool. The solderingGets hard again. The vacuum soldering is the perfect tool indeed. I also browse on YouTubeOn how to use this product. And got great tips on how to desolder off like parallel portOff a Pcb board. Very satisfied

This Vacuum Solder Sucker, works fine for my low volume requirements. It heats up relatively fast, the heat is adjustable, the stand is easy to use and the vacuum is sufficient. On the down side, the instructions are minimal, and spare parts, like the filters tips and retainer tube are not readily available.

This thing is amazing. I am an electrical tinkerer and spend a good deal of time each week working on different soldering-related projects. I always dread cleaning up mistakes because my skills with wick are less than amazing -- I lift pads more often than I'd like. I found spring-actuated pumps to be frustrating too. This Desoldering Gun makes short, easy work of most desoldering tasks. It's quick and fun to use. You will spend a little bit of time cleaning it but its well worth it. I only wish I had made this investment sooner.
