Great product and it’s perfect forth garage

Good looking rail..especially for older bodies

We used two of these handrails on the back porch of my elderly parents' home. They are very sturdy and easy to install. They were plenty tall - so we put the footing below the dirt line to drop the overall height a bit. Seems like a good value for the price. I withheld one star since we don't yet know how they'll hold up to the weather and regular use.

Love it easy to install

I have 2 steps from my garage to the house. By building code in our area thisdoes not require a rail. Yet quite a few people that visit need the help of a rail. This worked great. I had to do a little testing with a small nail to find for sure where the stud was (stud finder was close) and then installed it with 3.5 inch black lag screws with predrilled holes. Worked great. Two other quick points. This is a heavy duty quality rail I would not install it in anything but a solid surface like a stud, brick or concrete. It comes primed and I painted it black. It painted really nice and easy with standard rust resistant spray paint. I was pleasantly surprised how nice this looked. Also checking code for height to install will ensure effective use (as well as code as needed).

I needed something attractive to attach to my hardy board siding - three steps outside my back door - it's PERFECT, even though it's fairly short - VERY GOOD PURCHASE and the grey color is elegant -The ONLY misgiving is that the bolts have some gold in them, which doesn't look great with the grey, but nobody is noticing but me LOL

I like the hand rail. It looks just like the picture and eliminated the need for a post to anchor it. We of course went to the hardware and bought long screws to anchor the handrail to the wall. I have been using it for support going down two stairs to my sun room. Had to position it right next to a window, but it is low enough that it is not distracting. I don't even see it anymore. Even with the long screws, it is just a tad wabbley. Still very satsfied and wou;d have gone 5 stars if the hardware had been what was needed. We knew that was going to happen because almost every review says the same thing. thinking of getting another for the two stairs into the garage
