Reliable and fast for pool cover draining
We have used this pump since November of 2022 and have had zero issues. It just works and fast. We use it to drain rain water from the cover on our 24ft above ground pool. At times, we have left it on to catch overnight rain and for those pop up showers that occur. It works in shallow water or completely covered by water. It also came in handy to drain residual water when we drained our hottub.

Great customer service
I can’t begin to say how many pool cover pumps I have purchased overtime. I feel like none of them actually last an extended period of time. I use two pumps on my pool cover; one for the pool and one for the spa. This year both of the pumps failed. When I went to replace them, I impulsively bought a different brand frustrated with the fact that these failed. It was a good deal and while I don’t necessarily regret it in retrospect, the new pump does not come with a warranty like these do. I reached out to the company for these pumps regarding the warranty since they were not working. After several emails proving purchase and sending a video to show the issues. They made good on the warranty. Knowing that Pool pump covers do not typically last, I did actually buy another one of these due to the fact that their customer service was so excellent. They were in daily communication with me via email and provided me with a credit of the original purchase price. I would’ve been happy with a replacement pump and therefore used the replacement credit to purchase another one from them. There may be stronger pumps or other deals but for me having a warranty with a company that backs it is most important.

worked great for less than a month
Worked fine the first few rains, then quit. No customer support number so you can't call but did fined a service email, suppose to reply in 24 hours, but again, haven't heard back in three days! I would not recommend this pump. Update - customer service did reply and gave me a check list of things to do, which I already did when it first quit, but this time it worked??? Maybe sitting on my workbench for a week dried things out, I don’t know but it’s working again. We will see how long it lasts this time….

Works perfectly!
I was shocked that it actually does what it says it will do. We always get water stuck in the pool cover which weights it down and breaks the cover. As soon as there’s rain, it turns on and sucks it out. A hose doesn't come with it, but we got one and attached it easily. Highly recommend!!!

Just buy it!!! Don't hesitate
This pool cover pump is AWESOME!!! I have a 30 ft round pool and that tiny little pump from the pool store couldn't keep up but I put big daddy in and it got rid of all that unwanted water on my pool cover in minutes. The base is a little annoying because it pops off easy so you got to be careful when you put it in the pool. Make sure your pool cover is secure because I'm convinced this pump could empty a pool over night.

Customer service was great
The pump worked for 2 years and then stopped working the 3rd year. I went on Acquaer website, filled out the online form and within 2 days customer service reached out asking for a video. I sent a video showing the pump was not working and within 2 days said they would send a new pump. I received the new pump within 4-5 days. Great customer service and easy to work with.
