The difference between. Batch and suction
Answer This Question
Full suction stop type: It will only stop after the water is fully sucked, and it will continue to suck if not manually pressed.<br/>Intermittent type: The first gear will continuously suck. In second gear, suck for 30 seconds and stop for 25 seconds. Suck for another 30 seconds and it will stop for another 25 seconds. It is a cyclical process.

I decided on this vacuum because of price. It works well. I've been taking my time cleaning the pond so this pond vac is perfect. If in a hurry not the vac for you. I did a little modification by putting in a filter for catching the debris and it works perfect for me without spending $400 or more

I cannot say enough about my new VevorPond Vacuum. I was a little hesitant as I needed a submersible vacuum to clean the bottom of a 52 inch deep 16 ft round above ground pool with a vinyl liner. As i read reviews I noticed several customers were using it for The same reason and praising the job accomplished. Once it arrived i had it up and running iin no time. I can now use it for about a half hour once a week and my pool is clean!!!

It has a strong motor with good suction
It has good suction, but I don't like the way it turns off when it's emptying the tank, The clips to lock down the top keeps coming undone if you slightly move it. Otherwise, it's working pretty good.

Works great!
Just what I needed, but didn't know it! I had a pond & stream with about 250 gallons. A lot of sediment had collected on the rocks at the bottom. This works like a shop vac, except it sucks in the water and the gunk for about 30 seconds to a minute, then ejects it out the bottom port. Then the cycle repeats. It does that really well. The only problem I had was that the output tube was too short and wouldn't reach to the drain in my yard. I found a better solution though. I put a large, fine mesh bag around the end of the output tube, duct taped it to the tube, and put the bag where it would drain into the pond. It collected all the yuck but recycled the water back into the pond. I'm glad I bought this and would buy it again.

Works, need to take some time to vac pond. It is designed to vac about 30 second and than shutdown to drain for about 30 seconds. Was able to vac pond while keep level using a garden hose. Easy to setup and use.
