The difference between. Batch and suction
Full suction stop type: It will only stop after the water is fully sucked, and it will continue to suck if not manually pressed.<br/>Intermittent type: The first gear will continuously suck. In second gear, suck for 30 seconds and stop for 25 seconds. Suck for another 30 seconds and it will stop for another 25 seconds. It is a cyclical process.

The cycling of on suction/off suction to drain is not working. It sucks well for 20-30 seconds and does drain, then the suction shuts off and will not resume unless I shut the machine off. And yes, I have waited up to 60 seconds for the suction to resume but it does not resume until machine has been shut off and then restarted. Is this normal? Not how the manual explains it.
