Update: While they were not able to send me a replacement top, they did refund my money. Upgraded rating to 4 stars based on this solution. The clear podium was want we wanted, but there was a defect on the top piece - see attached picture. When I reached out to the company (providing a description, picture of problem, and receipt), all I got after 9 days of waiting was a standard cookie-cutter response stating that they are working on it. Very disappointed.

I wanted a podium that didn't take up too much space but that was sturdy and high enough to hold up a large book, like an atlas, to be referred to from a standing position. This fits the bill nicely, and it's also quite attractive in the clear acrylic material. It wasn't hard to assemble; it took me about an hour, and that's because I took my time in moving the large pieces so I wouldn't bump into anything, and there's a protective film on each of the acrylic pieces that needs to be carefully peeled off before assembly. It's worth it though, for the pretty clear acrylic looks great. I'm 5'7\" tall and the front of the podium is right about to the level of my heart, so it's a good height for me.

Showed up in perfect condition with no defects at all! It’s a little tall but it’s no problem at all. It went together with no issues and all the screws were there and threaded in fine. Great product!

Good starter podium for my wifes church. Very sturdy. Was missing 1 screw and the instructions were crap. Hence 4 stars. Otherwise I would give it 5.

The lectern is easy to assemble, and its solid construction ensures it won't fall apart or fall over during use. It's the perfect height to be used on top of a table and is wide enough to accommodate a laptop and a stack of paper. The wood grain appearance is professional and attractive.
