The bottom hole on the cable support posts is over four inches from the bottom of the base plate, posing an entrapment hazard to consumers for these cable railing kits. This is contrary to U.S. building code, which states that spacing should not allow a 4-inch sphere to pass through at any point between the walking surface and the top edge of a guardrail.

How can I obtain a refund?
If the product bought by customers is within the scope of the recall, customers are entitled to receive a full refund by (i) returning the recalled cable railing kit to either 5115 S Shaver St, Houston, Texas (Southern United States) or 1401 West Front St, Florence, New Jersey (Eastern United States) (at no cost to the consumer, to include prepaid shipping and packaging); or (ii) by providing photographic evidence of disposal of the recalled cable railing kit.
