Make sure your size of tv before you buy i thought I read it holds a 55 inch tv and it does but not in a cabinet.

Cool, quality product. Easy assembly. Quiet motor...hope that lasts.
For now I am using a plywood bottom as a stand and plan to trim the wood back, then paint it . Easy to follow instructions.
A tilt and additional cord containment feature would be great (for now, black electrical tape will suffice.).
Worth the buy.
Loved it so much, just purchased my second one!! Smaller sized tv but same quality.

Assembling the lift mechanism was fairly easy. We only ran into one minor snag in attaching our TV to it - while they provide multiple options, we needed spacers between the sizes provided so we just cut some down. We made a cabinet that only has about an inch of space on either side of our TV and it seems to work fine. Have only had it 2 weeks at this point but no complaints.

Let me start by saying this product is exact what it says it is. And it’s EXTREMELY quite. Literally can’t even hear it. I installed a “bar” on here my hot tub is on my deck and it’s everything I hoped for. Took some work to make a box around it but that has nothing to do with this product itself. If I had to I would buy again.

Does the mount allow the tv to fold flat to the ceiling?

It is not guaranteed to be completely flush with the ceiling. If the TV is very light, it is OK. If it is heavy, there will be tension.
