Why is the instruction manual saying to stack the charcoal when you say its a Horizontal pellet grill smoker? Model# JY MY YXL 580 120 (220 & 240) where are the proper instructions on using this smoker?

I can't get technical support because I don't have an order number. The smoker is brand new but given away because of the confusion with the manual that says to stack charcoal on a pellet grill, yet nothing about the pellets and how to start.
