Do you need to remove the filters to wash them or can you just rinse while they are in the unit?

Except for the motor in the fan blade and the switch on it, everything else can be washed directly. It is recommended to wipe the fan because it is connected to the motor.

If on “cool” mode and the fan set on the number 1 setting, how long will 9 gallons of water last before needing to be refilled? Refilling manually, not hooked up to a hose.
