I use it for all my power tools, table saw and planer included.

The cord reel is a polypropylene case and has an SJTOW material cord which is weather-resistant and heavy-duty, so it will work well in cold.

I used two short LAG bolts. Yes, it may be too much but it is solid and I have used it a lot since I got it. I am sure solid screws would work but I installed it permanently and short (1-inch) lag bolts hold it perfectly. Something with a good thread size.
