No it doesn't and it builds up quite a bit of pressure. They should have included a gage....but they don't. Thats the only downside, otherwise it really works great. We're using it on a garden hose.

This product has a self-priming height of 8m. If the depth of 30 feet you mentioned refers to the height from the water surface to the inlet, then this product is not suitable for you.
